Twenty songs from twenty bands (some local, some national, and two international)…

It’s been one heck of a year for Giant Steps Productions. This mixtape is evidence of that.

I started reaching out to bands at the end of the summer. The idea was to put together a cool mixtape of the bands we’ve worked with in 2011, to share with each other and the world and you. That’s why we all started doing this right?

So many bands came back to me with, “Well, we have some brand new stuff we’re mixing right now – can you wait?” or words to that affect. New stuff?! Duh. Honored even.

Twenty songs from twenty bands, some stuff you’ve heard and a lot of stuff you probably haven’t. All of this music and these bands have touched us in some way in 2011. I sincerely hope that Giant Steps’ "Totally Awesome Jamz 2011" Mixtape does the same for you.
